ABOUT US

Brown’s Infectious Disease Society Magazine is a student-run publication that showcases infectious diseases’ interdisciplinary nature and wide-ranging societal impacts. Through diverse and thoughtfully curated content, we aim to reflect upon the field's complexity while making it accessible and engaging to readers across a wide range of disciplines. Each issue features sections on clinical enterprises, global health, health policy, and health disparities, offering readers critical insight into how infectious diseases intersect with medicine, public health, social justice, and global systems.

Our mission is to foster a platform for dialogue, inquiry, and interdisciplinary exploration within the Brown community. By bridging the gap between infectious disease science and society, we aim to promote health equity and empower the next generation of researchers, clinicians, and advocates who are committed to addressing infectious disease challenges both locally and globally.
